Revision Rhinoplasty
Revision rhinoplasty is surgery to correct or improve the result of a previous nose operation. Some patients seek revision because of breathing difficulties after surgery; others because the shape of the nose did not turn out as expected.
When patients consider revision
- Difficulty breathing through the nose after a previous operation
- Asymmetry or irregularities in the nasal shape
- Changes that have developed as the nose healed over time
- Concerns about the balance between the nose and the rest of the face
How Dr. Juratli approaches revision cases
Revision surgery is usually more complex than a first operation, because of scar tissue and changes to the nasal structure. Every case begins with a detailed consultation: a review of your previous surgery, an examination of the inside and outside of the nose, and a discussion of what can realistically be improved.
As a consultant ENT surgeon, Dr. Juratli assesses both nasal function and appearance, so that breathing is considered alongside shape.
Timing
Surgeons generally advise waiting until the nose has fully healed from the previous operation before planning revision surgery. Dr. Juratli will advise on timing after assessing your individual case.
